Mr. G. J. Girase

Chairman & Managing Director (C M D)

Mr. G. J. Girase comes with over three and a half decades of experience in the Power, Urban Infrastructure, PPP, Finance and Agriculture sectors. He is a former Director (Finance) of MAHAGENCO, a MSEB Holding Company, Mumbai. During his tenure, he played a key role in setting up the 125 MW Solar PV Project at Shivajinagar, Sakri, Dhule. He is the Vice President (Western India) of the Solar Energy Society of India (SESI).

He has been closely involved in aggregation of over 2000 acres and obtain permits and approvals.

Dr. Priyabrata Santra

Dr Priyabrata Santra came to ISRIC to learn advanced research areas in geoinformatics. He worked on spatial assessment of soil properties using digital soil mapping techniques. Soil organic carbon content has been assessed by him at six different spatial scales starting from farmer’s field to national scale in India using geostatistical techniques. He also developed a web based GIS for Arid Western India to estimate soil water retention based on apedotransfer function model and digital soil maps

Dr. Chetan Solanki

Prof. Chetan Singh Solanki is an educator, researcher, innovator and happiness program teacher of Art of Living, who is currently on unpaid leave from IIT Bombay. He has undertaken Energy Swaraj Yatra from Nov. 2020 through a solar bus for 11 years, until 2030. In this yatra, Prof. Solanki has pledged not to go home until 11 years and stay in the solar yatra bus. In the wake of serious and catastrophic climate change, this Energy Swaraj Yatra is designed with the purpose to create a public movement towards adoption of 100% solar energy

Dr. J C Rajput

He is an eminent horticulturist with wide experience at National and International levels in research and development. He also studied at Tree breeding and Genetics in Mississippi State University, MS, USA in 1990.He served as a Vegetable Specialist (KKV, Dapoli), Horticulturist and Associate Director of Research at Regional Fruit Research Station Vengurle (KVK). He had released 11 vegetable varieties in Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth Dapoli, Dist Ratnagiri (MS) and 55 varieties and 114 hybrids till date. Dr. Rajput is the author of 8 books/bulletin’s. He has published more than 120 research /technical papers in renouned national and international journals. He is recipient of HSI Award, Gold Medal from Horticulture Society of India, New Delhi in 2006, Vasantrao Naik Memorial Gold Award 1992, Abasaheb Kubal Horticultural Award 1993, Baliraja-Dr Rahudkar Grantha Paritoshik Award 1995

Dr. VS Pawar

He is an eminent agronomist, retired Professor Agronomy abd Chief Scientist MPKV Rahuri. He had also been the Principal of Agricultural Colleges and Advisor on agricultural education. Dr Pawar has done intesive research in Agronomy and Water Management.

Worked as Product Manager in IDBI Bank, was member of hi-tech Agri team of the Bank. Highly motivated and skilled strategist who can transforms strategic plans into workable solutions. An agriculture graduate, compassionate for farming and farmers. Presently working as Head Credit Initiatives & Research with Syngenta Foundation India supporting rural youths and small holder farmers to participate in sustainable agricultural development.
